According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 p.m. on November 10, the center of storm No. 14 was at about 17.9 degrees North latitude; 118.8 degrees East longitude, in the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 13 (134-149 km/h), gusting to level 16. The storm moved in a North-Northwest direction, at a speed of about 10 km/h.

Forecast until 4:00 p.m. on November 11, the storm in the eastern sea of ​​the North East Sea is at level 13, gusting to level 16. The storm is moving in the North Northwest direction, at a speed of 10-15 km/h. The affected area is the eastern sea of ​​the North East Sea with a disaster risk level of level 3.

By 4 p.m. on November 12, the storm was on the southwest coast of Taiwan (China) and gradually weakened, with winds reaching level 10 and gusts reaching level 13. The storm was moving northeast at a speed of about 15 km/h. The affected area was the northeastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea with a disaster risk level of level 3.

At 4:00 p.m. on November 13, the storm was in the sea northeast of Taiwan (China) and continued to weaken, with winds reaching level 6 and gusts reaching level 8. The storm moved northeast at a speed of 20-25 km/h.

Due to the impact of the storm, at sea, the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea has strong winds of level 8-10; the area near the eye of the storm has strong winds of level 11-13, gusts of level 16, waves of 5-8m high, the area near the eye of the storm has waves of 8.0-10.0m. The sea is very rough. All ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and big waves.

High tides in the northern coastal region

Currently, the tide level in the Northern coastal area is at a high level. In the past 24 hours, the highest tide peak at Hon Dau station ( Hai Phong ) reached 4.06m at 7:40 a.m. on November 10.

Water levels along the northern coast are high and tending to fall slowly. The highest water level at Hon Dau is forecast to reach 4.05m.

This is a high tide period, low-lying areas along the coast, along rivers, and areas outside the dike are likely to be flooded for 7-9 hours every day. High tides will slow down the flood drainage process on the river system in the area. In the evening and at night, it is necessary to be on guard against strong offshore currents when the tide recedes, which is dangerous for maritime activities and sea tourism , especially at ports and beaches.

In the Northwest region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms at night and in the morning; in the afternoon, the clouds will decrease and it will be sunny. From Thanh Hoa to Hue, there will be rain in some places in the North, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the South in the late afternoon and at night, and sunny during the day. North to Northwest wind level 2-3. Lowest temperature from 22-25 degrees Celsius; highest in the North from 26-28 degrees Celsius, in the South from 28-30 degrees Celsius.

The South Central Coast region is cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and at night, and sunny during the day. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature is from 23-26 degrees Celsius, the highest is from 29-32 degrees Celsius.

In the Central Highlands, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night, and sunny days; thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature will be from 19-22 degrees Celsius, and the highest from 28-31 degrees Celsius.

In the South, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and at night, and sunny days. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature is from 24-27 degrees Celsius, the highest is from 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi has scattered rain, Northeast wind level 2-3. Lowest temperature from 22-24 degrees Celsius, highest from 24-26 degrees Celsius.

In Ho Chi Minh City, it is cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and at night, and sunny during the day. The lowest temperature is from 24-26 degrees Celsius, the highest is from 30-33 degrees Celsius.
