During the storm and flood last October, Van Ha Secondary School suffered heavy damage. The school was deeply flooded, forcing students to miss 20 classes; facilities, teaching equipment, and books were seriously damaged, causing teaching and learning to be interrupted.

Sharing the difficulties of teachers and students of the school, Bac Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television connected with Hanoi Moi Newspaper Printing Company Limited to present Van Ha Secondary School with 2 televisions and 10 computers worth 100 million VND, contributing to encouraging and motivating teachers and students of the school to firmly overcome difficulties, stabilize and improve the quality of teaching and learning.
On the same day, through the connection of the Voice of Vietnam , Newspaper and Radio, Bac Ninh Television, the charity group of the Mendicant Nuns - Ngoc Phuong Monastery (Ho Chi Minh City) led by Venerable Thich Nu Chieu Lien presented more than 1,000 gifts with a total value of more than 1.2 billion VND to the people of the communes: Dong Ky, Bo Ha and Tien Luc. In which, Dong Ky and Bo Ha communes, each commune received 250 gifts, Tien Luc commune received 500 gifts. Each gift included 1 million VND, 1 blanket and necessities, medicine.

The delegation visited, encouraged, and presented many necessities and 6.5 million VND to the family of Mrs. Luu Thi Xit (born in 1949), a poor household whose house collapsed due to the storm in Cong Chau village, Dong Ky commune; presented 3 million VND to Mr. Tran Quang Nam (born in 1968) in Yen Bai village, Bo Ha commune, who is in difficult circumstances and disabled; 10 million VND to Mrs. Nghiem Thi Huong (born in 1958) in Doi village, Tien Luc commune, who lives alone and is in especially difficult circumstances.
The meaningful gifts filled with love and sharing from monks and Buddhists help people reduce difficulties, while spreading the message of humanity, lighting up faith and humanity in life.
