Arrested 2 business directors using fake documents to bid

On the evening of May 20th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Tam Ky City Police ( Quang Nam province ) announced that it had initiated a criminal case, indicted the suspects, and executed arrest warrants to detain two business directors: Huynh Hong Danh (31 years old, residing in Tam Thai commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province), Director of Quang Nam Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company; and To Van Thanh (37 years old, residing in Que My commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam province), Director of Dai Loc Construction Joint Stock Company.

Danh was prosecuted and detained for investigation into the act of using forged documents of an agency or organization; Thanh was prosecuted and detained for investigation into the act of forging documents of an agency or organization.

In addition, Nguyen Tien (28 years old, residing in Que Hiep commune, Que Son district), an employee of Huynh Hong Danh, was also prosecuted and temporarily detained for investigation into the act of forging documents of agencies and organizations and using forged documents of agencies and organizations.

Previously, through local area management, the Criminal Police Team of Tam Ky City Police discovered information about several suspects who were forging documents of agencies and organizations and using these forged documents to participate in bidding for construction projects in Tam Ky City.

Upon verification, recognizing the seriousness of the case, the Criminal Police Team coordinated the investigation and took action.

The investigation determined that, in early 2024, Quang Nam Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company bid on several projects and works for which the Tam Ky City Land Fund Development Center was the investor.

Huynh Hong Danh, along with Nguyen Tien and To Van Thanh, forged official government documents sent to the Tam Ky City Land Development Center to demonstrate the company's capabilities in the bidding process.

The Investigation Police Department of Tam Ky City Police has temporarily seized 1 laptop, 3 mobile phones, 4 documents related to the act of forging and using forged documents of agencies and organizations, and other documents.

The case of forging and using forged documents is currently being investigated and expanded by the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Tam Ky City Police Department.
