On November 9, according to the Investigation Police Agency of Duyen Hai Town, Tra Vinh Province, the unit has initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and detained Dang Quang Huy (40 years old, temporarily residing in Mu U Hamlet, Dan Thanh Commune, Duyen Hai Town, Tra Vinh) to investigate the act of property theft.
Previously, Huy was a construction supervisor for a construction company working at Dinh An General Port (in Mu U hamlet, Dan Thanh commune, Duyen Hai town).

Accordingly, during the working process, Huy saw that there were tons of iron being processed and that management was lax, so he had the intention of stealing.
On November 3, due to personal expenses, Huy called a crane to sell the processed iron with a volume of 12 tons, the amount of 84.7 million VND. On the morning of November 5, the project owner discovered that the iron was missing and reported it to the police.
During the investigation, the police identified Dang Quang Huy as the suspect. At the investigation agency, Quang Huy admitted to the theft.
Also related to the theft, in the early morning of August 12, Tra Vinh City Police organized an undercover patrol, coordinated with Ward 5 Police and local residents to discover and catch Le Hoang Hung (35 years old, residing in Hoa Phu Hamlet, An Phuoc Commune, Mang Thit District, Vinh Long Province) stealing a drainage frame on the Long Binh River in Hamlet 3, Ward 5, Tra Vinh City.
At the police station, Hung confessed that he needed money for personal expenses so he committed the theft. He had previously stolen two sewer covers and sold them for 280,000 VND.
Previously, on July 3, Tra Vinh City Police also caught Hung stealing 7 rolls of telephone cables from Telecommunication Center 1, Tra Vinh City. During the investigation, Hung confessed to his crime. Because there was no conclusion on the property valuation, Hung was released, but then continued to commit crimes.
According to the conclusion of the Property Valuation Council, the total value of the 7 rolls of cable that Hung stole was more than 3.6 million VND. On the afternoon of August 12, the Investigation Police Agency of Tra Vinh City issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, prosecute the accused and execute an order to temporarily detain Le Hoang Hung for the crime of property theft.
