Isa Balado gestured for the stranger to stop his actions. The entire incident was featured in a live news broadcast on Cuatro (Spain).

While Isa was reporting on a robbery that occurred in downtown Madrid earlier this week, she was unexpectedly approached by a stranger. The man allegedly touched her buttocks and asked her questions in the middle of a live broadcast.

The Spanish public was shocked by this man's disrespectful behavior. Just before this, the Spanish public was outraged when the President of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, "forcibly kissed" a female player after the Spanish women's national team won the 2023 Women 's World Cup.

Immediately after the incident involving journalist Isa Balado, the Spanish Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, wrote on her official social media account.

"There are things that many people consider 'normal' that are actually not normal at all, especially in the context of contemporary culture. Unwelcome or unacceptable touching can also be considered sexual harassment," asserted Irene Montero.

The Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Affairs , Yolanda Díaz, spoke out, demanding that this act of harassment be punished: "It was this man's desire to show off his masculinity that led to the female journalist being harassed. He didn't even show any remorse afterward."

Police said they arrested the man who sexually harassed reporter Isa Balado. Initially, after being harassed, Isa tried to continue reporting. She told the man that she was live on air.

The studio presenter, Nacho Abad, apologized for having to interrupt Isa's news broadcast, but Abad wanted to know: "Did that man touch your buttocks?"

Isa confirmed that this was true. Immediately afterward, Mr. Abad requested that the frame be widened to include the man: "Show us this fool."

Isa agreed and turned to the man, saying, "You want to ask me which station I work for, but why do you have to touch my butt? I'm live on air and I'm working."

The man immediately denied touching her. Isa wanted to end the conversation quickly, saying, "I want you to leave me alone so I can work." Meanwhile, the man continued to insist that he hadn't touched Isa. Finally, before leaving, the man even touched... her head.

The public was shocked by what they saw on camera. Isa shared in the news report: "You don't need to feel sorry for me. This just makes me angry."

While the news was airing, the station contacted the police. Just minutes after being notified, law enforcement arrived at the scene and detained the man.
