Ben Tre prepares to build 300 Great Solidarity houses

On the evening of August 26, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province coordinated to organize a rally to welcome the success of the 10th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province, the task for the 2024-2029 term is to continue promoting the role of the Front at all levels in propaganda, education, and mobilization of all classes of people, creating a combined strength to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Front. Effectively carry out social supervision and criticism, participate in building a strong Party, government and political system; perfect the organizational apparatus, innovate the content and methods and improve the quality of activities of the Front at all levels in the province, contributing to building an increasingly strong solidarity bloc in the province.

With the consensus and active response of all classes of people, especially in the emulation campaign to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels associated with the "New Dong Khoi" emulation movement, with 412 projects, the implementation cost was over 193 billion VND.
In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels carried out the project "Flags flying in the sky" on 222 roads in the province, with socialized funding of over 6 billion VND.
Organize the handover and groundbreaking of 1,000 Great Solidarity houses, actively carry out the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025".

Notably, at the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province received 17.8 billion VND from local businesses, such as Lottery One Member Co., Ltd., Viettel , VNPT Ben Tre to support the construction of 300 solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households in the province, aiming to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by 2025.
