To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7th (1954 - 2024), this morning, April 23rd, the Secretary of the Dong Ha City Party Committee, Le Quang Chien, visited and expressed gratitude to the soldiers, youth volunteers, and civilian workers who directly participated in the fighting and supporting the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are currently living in Dong Ha City. These included: Mr. Truong Cong Chuong (born in 1926), residing in Quarter 2, Ward 1; Mr. Nguyen Soan (born in 1930), residing in Quarter 4, Ward 5; and relatives of Mr. Le Quoc Toan, residing in Quarter 2, Ward 5.

At the families' homes, the Secretary of the Dong Ha City Party Committee, Le Quang Chien, expressed his deep gratitude to those who directly participated in making the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu possible, enabling today's generation to live in peace , prosperity, and happiness; he also kindly inquired about the health and living conditions of each family.

The Secretary of the Dong Ha City Party Committee expressed his wish that the soldiers, youth volunteers, and civilian workers who participated in the fighting and supporting the Dien Bien Phu Campaign continue to live happily, healthily, and usefully; always uphold the fine traditional qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and "Dien Bien Phu soldiers" in their lives, serving as shining examples for the younger generation to follow; and together with their families, contribute to building a more prosperous and beautiful homeland and country.
