On November 3, the Party Committee of Tang Nhon Phu Ward (HCMC) held a ceremony to present the 80-year Party membership badge to Mr. Ta Dang Sieu (born in 1929, a party member at the Party cell of Ward 62). Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee - attended and presented the Party badge.
Also attending were Mr. Duong Trong Hieu - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Pham Hong Son - Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Standing member of the Party Committee of Tang Nhon Phu Ward.
At the ceremony, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang presented the decision to award the 80-year Party membership badge and flowers to congratulate Mr. Ta Dang Sieu. He kindly inquired about his health and spent a lot of time talking with him and his family.
The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee emphasized that the Party Badge is a noble reward of the Party for loyal Party members who have devoted their whole lives to the Party. On behalf of the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, he respectfully sent his best wishes for good health and longevity, wishing Mr. Ta Dang Sieu a happy and healthy life with his family and children; continuing to be a shining example, a tall and strong tree for today's generations of Party members to learn from and follow.

Expressing his emotion and honor in receiving the 80-year Party membership badge, Mr. Ta Dang Sieu sincerely thanked the attention of the Party and authorities at all levels.
"This is a noble and sacred reward that recognizes my efforts, training, and dedication," he said, feeling both proud and moved, and feeling an even greater sense of responsibility.
Despite his old age and poor health, Mr. Sieu always vowed to maintain the qualities of a party member, setting a good example for future generations to follow.
Mr. Sieu is currently active in the Party cell of Ward 62 (under the Party Committee of Tang Nhon Phu Ward).
Born in 1929 in Hanoi, he joined the revolution very early. From February 1950, he held the position of member of the Party Executive Committee of weapons manufacturing enterprises in Tuyen Quang province. In February 1954, he was an officer of the Political Department of the Military Armament Department.
In 1957, he transferred to the Political Department of the Military Armaments Department. In 1970, he transferred to the Electricity Department of the Ministry of Industry as a researcher, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of the Electricity Department, and then transferred to the Hanoi Power Plant as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Yen Phu Power Plant in Hanoi.
In 1977, he moved to work as Head of the Housing Department of the Hanoi Public Works Management Department. In 1978, he was assigned to the Southern Construction Sector Renovation Board to renovate housing in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces. In 1987, he worked at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Housing and then retired.
