Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee visits and encourages families affected by tornado

On the afternoon of July 28, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai visited, encouraged and provided financial support to households affected by tornadoes in Ninh Thanh Loi commune (VND 5 million for households whose houses collapsed and VND 3 million for households whose roofs were blown off).

Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai visited and provided financial support to the family of Mr. Truong Quoc Canh (Nha Lau 2 hamlet, Ninh Thanh Loi commune) who suffered damage due to a tornado.

At the places he visited, Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai kindly asked about the health and life of the people and encouraged the households to quickly overcome the damage and stabilize their lives. At the same time, he directed the local authorities to urgently mobilize forces to support people in cleaning up and repairing their houses, and to review the extent of the damage to promptly provide support according to regulations.

Previously, at about 5 a.m. the same day, in the area of ​​Xeo Dung hamlet and Nha Lau 2 (Ninh Thanh Loi commune), a tornado occurred, causing 2 people to be slightly injured, 5 houses to collapse completely, 17 houses to have their roofs blown off, and many people's properties to be damaged.

Immediately after the tornado occurred, the People's Committee of Ninh Thanh Loi commune mobilized local forces to quickly arrive at the scene to help people overcome the consequences.

The tornado blew off the roof of a house in Nha Lau 2 hamlet (Ninh Thanh Loi commune, Ca Mau province).

After initial support, Ninh Thanh Commune People's Committee proposed to provide emergency funding to rebuild houses for 5 households whose houses collapsed, support roofing sheets worth 30 million VND for households with 100% roof damage, support roofing sheets worth 20 million VND for households with partially damaged roofs.
