The launching ceremony was held simultaneously in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, along with 20 other locations across the country, attracting nearly 35,000 participating athletes.

Over the past five years, the "Warm Tet for the Poor" running events have attracted nearly 300,000 participants, recording nearly 16 million kilometers run, which has been converted into nearly 60 billion VND in funding for green social welfare programs aimed at sustainable development.
These contributions have played a significant role in delivering nearly 300,000 Tet gifts to impoverished people and soldiers in border and island areas; planting over 330,000 new trees in many localities nationwide; building 13 community cultural centers to protect against floods in central provinces; and providing over 14,000 freshwater tanks to help poor people in the Mekong Delta have enough freshwater during the dry season.
BIDV MetLife staff start the BIDVRUN 2023 race.
On the very first morning of the race, 35,000 athletes completed nearly 100,000 km of running, equivalent to a donation of 500 million VND for the poor.
The race, taking place over 22 consecutive days (November 12th - December 3rd, 2023), will be a journey marking the spirit of overcoming oneself and persevering on the running course, with the ultimate goal of contributing 1000 - 5000 VND for every 1km run (depending on the time and applicable event programs according to the rules).
