According to the Binh Dinh Province Investment Promotion Center, among the new investment projects, there are 47 projects in the industrial sector with a total registered capital of more than VND5,330 billion.

Some notable projects include Takao Brick and Tile Factory with a total registered capital of VND 1,920 billion, expected to operate in the fourth quarter of 2024; Tekcom Central Wood Production and Processing Factory Project with a registered capital of VND 980 billion, expected to operate in the first quarter of 2026; Small-volume sterile drug manufacturing factory with a registered capital of VND 840 billion, expected to operate in the fourth quarter of 2030.

The remaining projects include 12 projects in the fields of trade, services, tourism, real estate; 8 projects in the fields of construction, infrastructure and 5 projects in the field of agriculture . Of these, there are 6 newly registered FDI projects, with a total investment capital of more than 1,000 billion VND. The whole province has 91 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over 1 billion USD.

According to the provincial Investment Promotion Center, projects in the industrial sector include a number of FDI projects and those of large enterprises and corporations. When operational, the projects will fill up industrial parks and clusters, while attracting a large number of high-quality workers to work, contributing to promoting the development of real estate and trade services in Binh Dinh province in the coming time.

In the first 9 months of this year, Binh Dinh's total social investment capital reached more than 31,000 billion VND, an increase of 16.8% over the same period. Of which, there were more than 12,000 billion VND in state capital, about 18,000 billion VND in non-state capital and more than 1,000 billion VND in foreign direct investment. Currently, the value of disbursed public investment capital managed by the province as of September 22 was 5,600 billion VND, reaching 73% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister (7,630 billion VND).

The province's GRDP also leads among the 5 localities in the key economic region of the Central region and ranks 7th out of 14 provinces and cities in the North Central and Central Coast regions, and 21st nationwide.

Auction and bidding for many large-scale projects

It is expected that in November, Binh Dinh Department of Planning and Investment will plan to find investors for 9 projects through bidding and prepare auctions for 21 investment projects using land in 2023.

Regarding auction projects, the province has 14 projects outside the economic zone and 7 projects in Nhon Hoi economic zone. The largest project outside the economic zone is the Construction of housing and commercial services at the land southwest of Long Van bridge, Tran Quang Dieu ward, Quy Nhon city, with an area of nearly 9 hectares.

Some other projects include the construction of a new Phu Dong Bus Station in Phu My District (nearly 2 hectares), the construction of a vocational training center and the supply of labor to go abroad in Long Van Urban Area, Quy Nhon City (more than 2 hectares)...

For projects preparing for bidding, the Night Paradise Nhon Hoi entertainment area, with an area of nearly 8 hectares, is proposed to continue to announce the project list for the second time this November. Previously, this project was announced on the national bidding network, with 1 investor registered but did not meet the preliminary requirements on capacity and experience.

In addition, the project of investing in a high-tech agricultural zone to develop shrimp in My Thanh commune, Phu My district with an area of nearly 229 hectares is one of the major projects that has received much attention and is also being put up for bidding by Binh Dinh province in the coming period. Currently, the project has been announced to invite investors, and the project list information has been posted on the National Bidding Network System. The registration period for project implementation is until November 6.
