From January 23 to 24, a working delegation of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command led by Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan, visited and congratulated the Savannakhet Provincial Military Command and Division 4 (Lao People's Army) on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Army on January 20 (1949-2024).

In the atmosphere of friendship, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan respectfully sent his best wishes to the leaders and all officers and soldiers of the Savanankhet Provincial Military Command and Division 4, Lao People's Army on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of its founding. Wishing the provincial armed forces and military units to always unite, strive to fulfill their assigned tasks, build the country and homeland to develop more and more, and ensure national defense and security.
Over the past 75 years, under the wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao People's Army has overcome countless difficulties and challenges, fought, built a force that is constantly growing and maturing.
Promoting special solidarity, the Savannakhet Provincial Military Command always closely coordinates with the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command to effectively carry out military , national defense, and military foreign affairs work, supporting Team 584, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command to effectively carry out the task of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died on the battlefield in Laos and bringing them back to Vietnam.
At the same time, coordinate well in grasping the situation, exchanging information, handling promptly to avoid being passive and surprised in all situations, maintain political stability in the area, continue to build and strengthen the special solidarity relationship between the two Parties, States and armies of the two countries and the armed forces of the two provinces.
On this occasion, the leaders of the units also exchanged some information, socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the border area between Quang Tri and Savannakhet, thereby agreeing to continue to well implement the contents of the signed coordination regulations, create favorable conditions to help each other in performing tasks, promptly fight and prevent all plots and tricks of hostile forces; effectively fight against all types of crimes; maintain political stability at all times, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly and developed border.
Within the framework of the working trip, the delegation of the Provincial Military Command visited and offered incense to the martyrs searched and gathered by Team 584 in the dry season of 2023 - 2024 at the temporary church; visited, presented gifts and inspected the implementation of the tasks of Team 584 on duty in Savannakhet province; inspected the construction of the Martyrs' Church and barracks of Team 584 in Tho village, Pha Lan Xay district, Savannakhet province.
