Workers of FDI enterprises love traditional art
On the evening of October 24, Hai Phong Traditional Theater organized an art program for nearly 300 workers of Citizen Vietnam Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Hai Phong - Japan Industrial Park) and their relatives on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. The program included many special performances such as "Hello Vietnam" (director, People's Artist Nguyen Tien Dung), the Vietnamese - Japanese bilingual song "Koibito Yo - Stay with me" performed by singer Truong Dy, along with songs "Guests come to play at home", "Swan Lake Puppetry", "Latin Dance"... and group performances such as "My hometown Hai Phong", "Hai Phong invites friends from all over the world". The coordination between artists and actors of the Theater and the collective of workers created a vibrant and warm artistic atmosphere.

Director of Hai Phong Traditional Theatre Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy shared: “For the past three years, we have moved the stage from the city center to the industrial park. Every time I return, I see the workers welcoming me, feeling more familiar and closer. That is the success of art when it truly touches the hearts of workers.” Having returned to perform many times at Citizen Vietnam Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., artist Luong Hai Phuong said that every time the artists received a warm welcome from the workers. She hopes to perform more to serve the workers to see and feel the beauty of traditional culture.
Previously, in early October, the Theater also performed at Tinh Loi Garment Company Limited (Lai Vu Industrial Park, Nam Sach) in a series of programs celebrating the success of the City Party Congress and the Mid-Autumn Festival "Tinh Loi Colors". The two nights of performances attracted thousands of workers and their children, with performances praising the homeland, the country, and the innovation achievements of Hai Phong city...

Enrich the spiritual life of workers
After the merger, Hai Phong has a total of 43 industrial parks with a total area of over 12,100 hectares, including 23 industrial parks in the east and 20 industrial parks in the west. In particular, Resolution No. 226/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on special mechanisms and policies for the development of Hai Phong city, especially policies on free trade zones with outstanding incentives, is opening up new competitive advantages for the city. This is the premise for the city to make a breakthrough, become a dynamic growth pole, and promote its role as one of the economic locomotives in the Red River Delta as well as the whole country.

In that context, the development of cultural and artistic activities in industrial parks and export processing zones not only has spiritual significance but also contributes to building a humane and cohesive working environment. Art performances organized periodically by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Economic Zone Management Board at enterprises and industrial parks have become special cultural meeting places for workers.
The programs are elaborately and attractively staged, performed right at the factory or in locations suitable for the lives of workers and laborers, helping them not only to nurture their spirit, reduce pressure after work, but also feel the care of society, and become more attached to the business and the city.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Thi Hoang Mai emphasized: "Bringing art to workers in industrial parks and export processing zones is a practical action, demonstrating the city's deep concern and affirming Hai Phong's superior policy in attracting investment and sustainably developing human resources."
It can be said that, in the journey of building Hai Phong into a modern industrial center, art has played an important role in enriching the spiritual life of workers. When artists step into the workshop, workers join in music, that is when art becomes a humanistic bridge connecting economic development and human development - the foundation for an industrial city with a cultural soul.
