Appointment of Director of Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province

Attending the conference were Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on appointing Mr. Luyen Huu Chung - Party Secretary, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Education and Training, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, presented the Decision and flowers to congratulate the new Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan congratulated Mr. Luyen Huu Chung on his appointment, and emphasized: Lao Cai Education and Training Department is entering a new development phase with many opportunities and challenges. In his new position, the new director of the department needs to continue to promote leadership capacity, innovation and solidarity; proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee on breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of comprehensive education, promote digital transformation, and build a team of teachers to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in the period 2025 - 2030.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Luyen Huu Chung expressed his deep gratitude to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the leaders of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee for entrusting him with the important responsibility; at the same time, he affirmed that he will, together with the collective leadership of the Department, promote the tradition of the industry, uphold the spirit of responsibility, creativity, and determination to successfully implement the goals of education and training development of the province.

Mr. Luyen Huu Chung was born in 1970, from Luc Yen district, former Yen Bai province. At the end of January 2025, he was appointed as Director of the Department of Education and Training of Yen Bai province. After the merger of Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces, he was assigned to hold the position of Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province.
