Delegate Nguyen Minh Tam ( Quang Binh delegation) questioned Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son about solutions to prevent school violence. According to delegate Nguyen Minh Tam, although the education and training sector has many solutions to deal with school violence, cyberbullying has become alarming and is a challenge for the sector.

Online violence has long-term physical and mental effects, hindering human development. "Can the Minister commit to a time when there will be no more violence in schools?" - delegate Nguyen Minh Tam questioned.

Responding to this issue, Minister Nguyen Kim Son thanked the delegate for his humane question when expressing his concern about the issue of school violence.

According to the Minister, educators, more than anyone else, are concerned about the continued presence of violence in schools. Everyone wants schools to be happy places, free of any form of violence.

Emphasizing that schools are an inseparable part of society, the Minister of Education and Training said that the walls around schools are increasingly fragile, the distance between inside and outside the school is gradually being erased by the Internet, social networks...

"If one day there is no more violence in schools, that will be the day adults stop fighting. Children will only look at each other with pure love" - Minister Nguyen Kim Son answered the delegates.

With the current situation, the education and training sector will implement many measures to control, reduce and create a better learning environment. According to the Minister, current statistics show that 70% of students who commit violent acts have special family circumstances when their parents are divorced, they witness domestic violence or they themselves suffer domestic violence.

"These circumstances affect the psychology, attitudes, behaviors and views of students. The important part of education is teaching ethics, personality, deciding the attitudes and behaviors of students. This part lies in the family, the example of adults. School is only a psychological control angle, increasing positive educational activities to limit students from falling into violence. We will do our best to do this task" - Minister Nguyen Kim Son emphasized.

Also concerned about the issue of school violence, delegate Nang Xo Vi (Kon Tum delegation) continued to question the Minister of Education and Training about specific solutions for schools in remote areas, where teachers have to take on multiple tasks, students lack self-protection skills, while schools lack a team of school psychology experts.

Responding to delegates, Minister Nguyen Kim Son shared the delegates' concerns about school violence. However, the head of the Ministry of Education and Training acknowledged that school violence in mountainous, remote and isolated areas is not as complicated as in schools in urban areas.

According to Minister Nguyen Kim Son, of the current school violence cases, about 20-25% occur in cyberspace. This is a worrying issue as school violence moves to the online environment and tends to increase.

Identifying this issue, the Minister said that in the coming time, the education and training sector will promote solutions to prevent and reduce school violence, with special attention to cyberspace.
