Many authors offer vivid perspectives, very close to real life, reflecting the multifaceted concept of happiness. Despite the short films and photos taken with mobile phones, the authors still manage to tell lively stories about life around them. The competition is a testament to the patriotic spirit and dedication of people across the country to promoting the image of our nation, its people, and its beautiful cultural traditions to the international community. At the same time, the competition also demonstrates a new trend in social media communication, based on the application of digital technology, digital platforms, and mobilizing the strength of the entire population in developing digital data to effectively serve information and propaganda work.
The artwork "Behind the Happiness" by artist Tran Thi Mui is on display at the exhibition.
Many works are presented with a fresh, objective perspective on life, society, and the development of Vietnam and its people, conveying a message of a happy, civilized, and strong Vietnam. The competition also recreates the creative journey of the authors, connecting them to the flow of life over the past year, linking them with the people they met and interacted with, allowing the authors to embark on special journeys, meet, honor, and spread the image and values of these extraordinary individuals. Authors from diverse professions, ages, ethnicities, languages, and using different devices all portray a peaceful, beautiful, dynamically developing, and happy Vietnam.

Citing the World Happiness Report 2024, published on March 20, 2024, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung stated that Vietnam is among the top 10 happiest countries or territories in Asia, ranking 54th globally, an increase of 11 places compared to 2023. He noted that this journey towards happiness is partly due to the contributions of the people, and the Happy Vietnam 2024 Awards Ceremony reflects a part of those contributions. This is proof of the widespread influence of the Happy Vietnam spirit, which has transcended the boundaries of a competition, a country, or a region, the Minister emphasized.
