Room service training for tourism businesses in the West of Lam Dong

From November 10 to 12, in Dong Gia Nghia ward, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province coordinated with relevant units to organize a training course on housekeeping (room) skills for staff of accommodation and tourism businesses in the western region of Lam Dong.

The training course aims to standardize human resources, improve service quality in accommodation activities and develop local tourism .

Room service training course in the Western region of Lam Dong aims to update new knowledge and skills for students.

By participating in the training course, trainees will be updated and improve their housekeeping skills through many key contents such as: cleaning procedures, preparing rooms to meet professional standards; towel folding techniques, decorating and creating aesthetic highlights in the accommodation space; communication skills, handling situations when serving tourists; practicing a scientific , dedicated, polite working style; at the same time mastering how to use and preserve chemicals and tools safely and effectively.

Training course to improve skills and expertise for staff and workers of accommodation and tourism establishments in the western region of Lam Dong

Not only stopping at the theoretical part, the training course is also an opportunity for students to exchange and share practical experiences with experts and experienced lecturers. Through practical activities, students have the opportunity to practice skills, thereby effectively applying them to daily work, contributing to improving service quality and professional image for the working unit.

The training course emphasizes the behavioral and communication skills of tourism facility staff that have soft power in attracting returning tourists.

The training course was organized to effectively implement the Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism according to Decision No. 718/QD-BVHTTDL of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Through that, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong aims to standardize the quality of accommodation services, build the image of a professional and friendly tourist destination, meeting the requirements of developing high-quality and sustainable tourism in the province.
