On the morning of October 13, in the solemn and warm atmosphere of the Opening Ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026 of the Petroleum College (PV College), Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) awarded 100 million VND in scholarships to students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies and achieved excellent results.

This is not only a noble humanitarian gesture but also a sincere gratitude from BSR to the school that has accompanied the enterprise since the early days of Dung Quat Oil Refinery's establishment.

BSR Deputy General Director Pham Minh Nghia presented a 100 million VND scholarship board to the Petroleum College.

When the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Project was about to enter the operational phase, PV College took on the responsibility of training a team of engineers, operation and maintenance workers, laying the foundation for BSR's success. The generation of skilled personnel trained by the school is not only good at expertise but also has the will and discipline, becoming the core force helping BSR master technology and operate stably and effectively for over 16 years.

Continuing that tradition, PV College continues to affirm its role as a key training institution for the national industry and energy sector, with a high employment rate for students and a training system that is constantly expanding and flexibly adapting to the digital transformation era. It is expected that by 2025, the school will reach the milestone of training more than 16,000 students - a record number in 50 years of development.

Awarding diplomas to students

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Xuan Hung - Vice Principal in charge of Petroleum College emotionally shared: "We are very touched and grateful for the affection and companionship of the enterprises in the Group and Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company. Today's scholarship gift of 100 million VND not only helps students overcome difficulties in life, but is also a great source of encouragement, adding confidence and determination for them to continue studying, training, becoming good workers and engineers to join the labor force of society and of the Group. PV College is proud that in its journey there is attachment and sharing from BSR".

And from today's scholarships, BSR's belief, aspiration and social responsibility will continue to spread, nurturing new dreams, so that each PV College student can take firmer steps on the path of conquering knowledge and contributing to the Fatherland.
