Provincial Party Committee discussed and evaluated the results of work in the first 9 months of the year

On the morning of September 22, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to evaluate the results of 9 months' work, deploy the tasks of the Provincial Party Committee in the fourth quarter of 2023; listen to the monitoring delegations of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee report on the monitoring results; give opinions and policies on socio-economic issues; personnel work and other issues under its authority.

Comrade Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference. At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee discussed and gave comments on the draft Report on the results of the first 9 months of the year and the implementation of tasks for the fourth quarter of 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee. According to the assessment, in the first 9 months of 2023, despite many difficulties and challenges, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, the work of Party building and political system building continued to be strengthened and effectively implemented. Although facing many difficulties, the socio-economic situation of the province was basically stable, export activities increased significantly; trade, service sectors, and business activities were gradually restored; the epidemic situation in the area was basically well controlled; national defense and security work was maintained, and people's lives were stable. The total product in the province increased by 7.3% over the same period, reaching 70% of the 2023 plan.

Also at the conference, the representative of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee reported on socio-economic contents to seek opinions and policies of the Provincial Party Committee, including: Policy to supplement the 2023 budget for Ly Nhan, Thanh Liem, Kim Bang, Binh Luc districts, Duy Tien town to increase the basic salary according to Decree No. 24/2023/ND-CP dated May 14, 2023, increase monthly allowances for commune officials who have retired according to Decree No. 42/2023/ND-CP dated June 29, 2023 of the Government and the remaining health insurance premiums in 2023 for subjects guaranteed by the state budget due to the increase in the basic salary; Adjust the composition of the Investment Promotion Delegation to Korea in 2023.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also gave opinions on socio-economic reports under its authority to submit at the 2023 Provincial People's Council Special Session. Including: Submission and draft resolution on stopping the implementation policy (ending) the investment project to build Le Cong Thanh Street Phase 3 and the Project to upgrade and renovate the Office of the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Binh Luc District. Submissions and draft resolutions on approving and approving adjustments to investment policies for public investment projects (including 8 projects, of which 4 projects proposed to adjust the capital structure; 1 project adjusted the investment scale, did not adjust the total investment; 2 projects adjusted the investment scale, total investment, capital structure; 1 project approved a new investment policy)

The Provincial Party Committee agreed with the contents of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee's report to request opinions and policies at the conference. Next, the Provincial Party Committee gave its opinion on the draft Directive of the Provincial Party Committee on leading the vote of confidence and vote of confidence for those holding positions elected by the People's Council. Also at the conference, the Provincial Party Committee gave opinions on the draft Report on the 5-year review of the implementation of Directive No. 21-CT/TW dated January 20, 2018 of the Central Party Secretariat (12th tenure) on "Continuing to promote women's work in the new situation"; gave opinions on the draft Report on the implementation of information technology application tasks according to Decision No. 27-QD/TW dated August 10, 2021 of the Central Party Secretariat on promulgating the Program on information technology application in the activities of Party agencies for the period 2021-2025; Report on the results of the work resolved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee between two meetings of the Provincial Party Committee and the work of organizing cadres.
