Anti-aging lunch of American billionaire

VnExpressVnExpress30/12/2023

Tech millionaire Bryan Johnson had lunch at 8 a.m. with boiled broccoli, cauliflower smothered, mushrooms, and healthy fats.

Bryan Johnson once caused a sensation when he spent two million dollars a year to establish a comprehensive anti-aging and longevity program called Project Blueprint. Diet was one of the key elements in this program. Johnson shared that he adheres to a strict plant-based diet, combining both solid and soft foods.

Johnson calls his "super-vegan" lunch an efficient way to get fiber in under 20 minutes. His meal includes cooked black lentils with boiled broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, and a variety of spices, flavorings, and healthy fats.

He only ate between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., with lunch usually starting around 8 a.m.

Despite following a rather strict diet, he still enjoyed dessert. Johnson often savored chestnut pudding after lunch. This is a combination of ground nuts, fruit, plant-based milk, and pomegranate juice.

He previously admitted to making some unhealthy decisions over the years, such as eating too many carbs and sugar late at night. By 2019, he began to change his lifestyle.

In a single day, he consumed only about 1,977 calories. He and his team of medical experts developed recipes for his strict diet.

With consistent habits, Johnson claims to possess "the heart of a 37-year-old, the skin of a 28-year-old, and the lung capacity and physical strength of an 18-year-old." Johnson's ultimate goal is to ensure all his organs—brain, liver, kidneys, teeth, skin, hair, penis, and rectum—function as well as those of a young man.

Johnson also sparked controversy when he used his son's blood to reverse his biological age. His son, Talmage, would donate about a liter of blood. This blood was separated into plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The plasma was then transfused into Johnson. The 45-year-old millionaire underwent a similar process, transfusing plasma into his father, Richard.

After examining a series of biomarkers from his blood, Johnson concluded on July 9th that the therapy was "ineffective." However, he did not provide specific information on why the method failed.
