Buc Tuong released MV "Summer Passed", first composition about student love

In April, the band Bức Tường released the music video for "Cân Bằng" (Balance), the opening track of their seventh album of the same name. After more than four months, the group released the music video for "Mùa hè đi qua" (Summer Passes By) (composed by Vũ Văn Hà), the third track in the album, at 8 PM on September 6th.

This is the first song about student love by Buc Tuong, in collaboration with singer Pham Anh Khoa.

Summer Passes By is set in a communal housing complex with many simple, authentic images, where the characters had beautiful memories during their childhood and school years.

Guitarist Vu Van Ha said that "Summer Passes By" is a song he dedicated to the youth of students – those pure hearts in love. School days are the most vibrant and youthful period of life.

"Teenage love is different from adult love. It may be just simple or fleeting feelings, but they will leave a lasting impression on each person's mind for many years to come."

Whether we can be together in the future or not, student love is still something very memorable , " Guitarist Vu Van Ha shared.

Choosing September 6th as the release date for the music video, coinciding with the start of the new school year, band leader and guitarist Tran Tuan Hung believes that audiences will find positive energy in "Summer Passing By" .

"Through this romantic story of high school days, filled with joy and regret, we see beautiful moments of life that everyone has experienced to some extent," said Mr. Tran Tuan Hung.

This is the first time Buc Tuong has made a product in Ho Chi Minh City, with the hope of bringing new colors and materials.

True to the style of director and artist Tran Trung Linh, the music video "Summer Passes By " offers a colorful storytelling approach and distinct personalities, revealing many "hidden" details presented like an artistic short film.

Audiences can encounter many interesting moments and wait for surprises when watching this MV.

"Summer Passes By" is the second music video that Bức Tường has released in 2023, however, this is not the band's final product this year. The band hinted that another music video will be released in October.

Founded in 1995 at the University of Construction, Bức Tường is one of Vietnam's first professional rock bands. The band made their debut on Vietnamese television in early 1996 with the song "We are The Wall" at the opening competition of the SV 96 program.

Bức Tường has released 5 studio albums: Soul of Stone (2001), Invisible (2003), Magnet (2004), Another Day (2010), and Vietnamese Land (2014). After the death of their leader Tran Lap, the band decided to continue operating, returning with 2 albums: Nameless Road (2020) and Balance (2023).

After 28 years, The Wall is "accelerating" to conquer higher goals, introducing a fresh and powerful energy to its audience.
