The last Bugatti Bolide is delivered, closing the W16 engine journey

The last Bugatti Bolide Hypercar has rolled out of the Molsheim factory to the customer, ending the journey of the legendary W16 engine.

One year after the first deliveries of the Bugatti Bolide hypercars began, the last 8.0L W16-engined Hypercar rolled out of the Molsheim factory (France).

The 40th/40th Bugatti Bolide has been delivered to a famous Swiss collector. The owner of the 40th Bolide owns rare Bugatti models such as the 18/3 Chiron, Centodieci, Type 35, EB110 GT, EB110 SS, Veyron 14. Super Sport, Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport...

The Bugatti Bolide is inspired by the Bugatti Type 35 and the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport. The Hypercar's main color is Bleu Grand Prix Lyonnais (classic blue), reminiscent of the French racing car paint of the 1920s; combined with contrasting details in Dark Blue.

The Bugatti Bolide's aerodynamic package is specially crafted, increasing downforce by nearly 3 tons and can corner at accelerations of up to 2.5G.

The interior of the Bugatti Bolide is personalized with Lake Blue Alcantara, combined with Light Blue Sport stitching.

The dashboard is divided into 3 compartments, the carbon fiber racing seats have additional support points for the seat belt and the driver's hips.

Bugatti Bolide is equipped with a W16 engine with 4 8.0L turbochargers similar to the Chiron, but the capacity is increased to 1,600 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque. Combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and full-time 4-wheel drive, it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.2 seconds, with a maximum speed of more than 501 km/h.

In 2021, Bolide was announced to have a selling price of 4.7 million USD, equivalent to about 123.9 billion VND, not including other expensive options worth millions of USD.

After producing 40 Bugatti Bolides, the French supercar company only produces the legendary W16 engine on the Bugatti W16 Mistral convertible supercar with a limited quantity of 99 cars.
