On September 13th, according to information from the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the authorities have requested units and localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with regulations related to combating smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property violations.
Simultaneously, strengthen control over areas where smuggling and trade fraud are prevalent; expand inspections at warehouses, storage yards, wholesale markets, and e-commerce platforms; prioritize inspections of high-risk items: medicines, cosmetics, food, dietary supplements, fertilizers, and electronic goods.
The People's Committee of Ca Mau province also requested strict handling, in accordance with regulations, of violations related to smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement. At the same time, it called for the public disclosure of major and complex violations, including the list of organizations, businesses, and individuals involved.
Previously, during the peak month of attacking and suppressing crime and ensuring security and order for the Party Congress and major national holidays, the police units of Ca Mau province discovered and handled 29 cases of economic law violations, seizing more than 213 tons of goods of unknown origin and without invoices or documents.
All violations are handled in accordance with the law.
