How to use Meta AI, which has just opened for free in Vietnam

Meta AI was confirmed by Facebook leaders to be open for free use by the community in Vietnam. From December 4, domestic users can use this tool to perform various tasks. Currently, Meta AI does not have a specific application on mobile devices or computers, so users who want to experience it need to access the address https://www.meta.ai/ on their phones, computers or smart devices that support web access and input methods.

If a message appears saying "Meta AI is not available in your country", users can ignore this message and choose to log in using their Facebook or Instagram accounts - accounts that belong to the Meta ecosystem. If an error occurs, try logging out and logging in again, or switch to another browser/device. If it fails, try logging in with another account. This happens because Meta AI is not yet widely available to all accounts at this time.

If the notification is not supported, users can ignore it and continue logging in to Meta AI.

The Meta AI tool works similarly to many popular AI chatbots today such as ChatGPT by OpenAI, Gemini (Google) or Copilot (Microsoft). Specifically, users will ask questions or commands in the input box and wait for the system to respond, with Vietnamese support. However, because the data is not fully updated and users cannot actively update new information, this system still has some limitations if used to refer to the latest news. In the response section, Meta AI can cite related information sources for users to verify.

According to the application's response, Meta AI is built on the LLaMA 3 model that Facebook provided for free many months ago, but it is the LLaMA 3 70B version with 70 billion parameters. However, some experts say that the information provided by Meta AI about its own model may not be completely accurate.

This tool currently has 3 main features: Q&A, drawing (with animation) and writing programming code. Many people who have experienced Meta AI believe that the data used to train the model is most likely taken directly from Facebook users, so the output language quality is very high, smooth, the ability to draw realistic pictures and the command is also easier than some other tools.
