Transaction office of the Social Policy Bank of Cam Giang district disburses money in the commune

In July alone, the Cam Giang District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office disbursed VND 5.9 billion in loans for job creation, accounting for over 68.6% of the total outstanding loans in the month.

The unit currently has 1,386 customers borrowing capital to solve employment problems, mainly households borrowing capital to invest in expanding production. All outstanding loans are used effectively and for the right purpose.

Typically, in Phu An village (Cao An commune), there are households such as Ms. Hoang Thi Dieu, who borrowed 100 million VND to renovate 2,000 m2 of broiler chicken coops, harvested 100 tons of commercial broiler chickens, earning about 300 million VND/year; Mr. Nguyen Van Luu borrowed 100 million VND to expand mechanical production, earning about 300 million VND/year, creating jobs for 3 workers, with an average income of 10 million VND/person/month. Ms. Bui Thi Quyet in Phu Quan village (Dinh Son commune) borrowed 95 million VND to renovate 2,000 m2 of fish ponds, earning 80 million VND/year...

With 232 savings and loan groups of Women's Unions, Farmers' Unions, Veterans' Unions and Youth Unions at the grassroots level, outstanding loan policy balance in Cam Giang district always ensures the purpose and efficiency of capital use.

By the end of July 2024, the total outstanding loan balance disbursed by the Cam Giang District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office reached over VND 428 billion, an increase of 7.33% compared to the beginning of the year. 232 savings and loan groups all operated effectively. Loan turnover in 7 months reached over VND 81 billion, with 1,877 poor households and other policy beneficiaries borrowing capital.
