Cam Giang Outstanding loan balance for job creation increases

The branch of the Social Policy Bank in Cam Giang district is disbursing funds at the commune level.

In July alone, the Cam Giang District branch of the Social Policy Bank disbursed 5.9 billion VND in loans for job creation, accounting for over 68.6% of the total outstanding loan balance for the month.

The unit currently has 1,386 loan customers seeking employment opportunities, primarily households borrowing capital to expand production. All outstanding loans are being used effectively and for their intended purpose.

For example, in Phu An village (Cao An commune), there are households such as Ms. Hoang Thi Diu, who borrowed 100 million VND to renovate a 2,000 m2 chicken coop, harvesting 100 tons of commercial chicken meat, earning a profit of approximately 300 million VND/year; Mr. Nguyen Van Luu borrowed 100 million VND to expand his mechanical production, earning a profit of approximately 300 million VND/year, creating jobs for 3 workers with an average income of 10 million VND/person/month. Ms. Bui Thi Quyet in Phu Quan village (Dinh Son commune) borrowed 95 million VND to renovate a 2,000 m2 fish pond, earning a profit of 80 million VND/year…

With 232 savings and loan groups of grassroots Women's Associations, Farmers' Associations, Veterans' Associations, and Youth Unions, policy loan balances in Cam Giang district always ensure the purpose and effective use of capital.

By the end of July 2024, the total outstanding loan balance disbursed by the Cam Giang District Branch of the Vietnam Social Policy Bank reached over 428 billion VND, an increase of 7.33% compared to the beginning of the year. All 232 savings and loan groups operated effectively. Loan disbursements in the first seven months reached over 81 billion VND, with 1,877 poor households and other policy beneficiaries receiving loans.
