Cam Xuyen temporarily fixes landslides on Ngan Mo river

Cam Xuyen district ( Ha Tinh ) has mobilized forces to support households in Phuong Tru village, Cam Due commune to reinforce and overcome serious landslides along the banks of Ngan Mo river.

On the afternoon of October 31, Cam Xuyen district mobilized military and militia forces to coordinate with local authorities to support households in reinforcing serious landslides along the banks of Ngan Mo River, through Phuong Tru village, to ensure immediate safety for the people.

Cam Xuyen District People's Committee has supported Cam Due Commune with 70 rock cages and mobilized 40 soldiers from the District Military Command to help overcome the landslide in Phuong Tru Village. In addition, Cam Due Commune authorities also mobilized machinery and more than 100 local workers to participate in the landslide recovery work.

The forces transported 100 stone baskets, 200 cubic meters ^of rubble, and 500 bamboo stakes to temporarily repair landslides and high-risk areas. The repair work will be completed this afternoon.

Previously, due to heavy rain lasting for many days, landslides appeared on the banks of the Ngan Mo River in Cam Due Commune (Cam Xuyen), threatening people's houses and property.

According to local review, Cam Due commune currently has 14 landslides along the Ngan Mo river bank, including 4 serious landslides with a total length of about 150m, directly affecting 12 households in the area.
