Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited Comrade Tran Van Hien, former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, former Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and Comrade Le Hong My, former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
At each location visited, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu cordially inquired about the health and well-being of the former provincial leaders; and acknowledged their contributions to the province's development over the years.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu also provided information on the implementation of the two-tiered local government system; socio -economic development targets; the work of promoting the province's potential and strengths; and the development orientation of projects in the province. Through this, he expressed his hope that former provincial leaders would continue to show interest in and support the province's development in the future.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Lu Quang Ngoi, visited and presented gifts to express gratitude to Comrade Duong Thanh Trung, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

During the visit, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi expressed his appreciation for the contributions of Comrade Duong Thanh Trung throughout his career, especially in key leadership positions, which have significantly contributed to the development of the province.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, Lu Quang Ngoi, affirmed that the Party Committee, government, and people of Ca Mau always remember and are grateful for the contributions of previous generations of officials who helped build a solid foundation for the province's continued development today.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi emphasized: Ca Mau - the southernmost land of the Fatherland - is facing many new opportunities for rapid and sustainable development. With its strategic location and great potential in marine economy, energy, agriculture , and ecotourism, the province is determined to innovate its thinking, improve governance effectiveness, and build a government that serves the people. The valuable opinions and experiences of former leaders are always an important resource for the province to continue refining policies and implementing tasks in the new phase.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi extended best wishes for good health to Comrade Duong Thanh Trung and his family, and expressed the hope that he would continue to follow, share his experience, and accompany the development of his homeland, Ca Mau.
Also on December 12th, the Department of Internal Affairs organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to people from Ninh Binh who have made contributions to their homeland of Ca Mau.
The delegation visited Mr. Tran Kim Chung, born in 1940, former Deputy Head of the Economic Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, originally from Kim Son, Ninh Binh (currently residing in Ly Van Lam Ward); Mr. Bui Hai Dang, born in 1938, originally from Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh, a former soldier; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Phien, born in 1944, originally from Chat Binh, Ninh Binh, wife of martyr Nguyen Hai Thanh; and Mr. Bui Minh Nguyet, born in 1945, originally from Giao Thuy, Ninh Binh, a former soldier (currently residing in An Xuyen Ward).

During her visits, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs Nguyen Thuy Nhu cordially inquired about the health and well-being of meritorious individuals and their families from Ninh Binh province currently living and working in Ca Mau province; expressing deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions and noble sacrifices of the people of Ninh Binh in the struggle for national liberation and reunification in general, and the development of Ca Mau province in particular.

Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs Nguyen Thuy Nhu wished the meritorious person from Ninh Binh province currently living in Ca Mau province and their family good health and happiness; and encouraged them to continue upholding the revolutionary traditions of their family, educating their children to strive and compete in labor, study, production, and business, contributing to building a more prosperous and beautiful Ca Mau homeland.

Visiting and giving gifts to meritorious people from Ninh Binh is one of the practical activities to show the concern and gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Ca Mau province towards the people of Ninh Binh, demonstrating the close fraternal bond between the two provinces of Ca Mau and Ninh Binh over 65 years of sister-province relationship.
