The Suoi Giua Housing Project in Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly part of Tuong Binh Hiep and Chanh My wards, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong province) is invested in by Asia Commercial Investment Joint Stock Company.

The People's Committee of Chánh Hiệp ward recently posted a notice stating that the investment approval for the project has been revoked by the People's Committee of Bình Dương province (formerly).

Previously, the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong province (formerly), also revoked and canceled the 1/500 detailed planning.

Inside the project area, weeds grow profusely, cassava is planted on both sides, and a road runs through the middle.

This road leads to only one restaurant at the back of the project.

Streetlights have been installed in the residential area.

In some locations, the utility poles are completely covered by grass and bushes, obscuring the walkway.

To ensure security and order, the police regularly conduct inspections in this area.

On the morning of August 23rd, police forces and local authorities went to the project site to put up notices announcing the withdrawal of the investment approval.

CLIP: Current status of the Suoi Giua residential area project

The Suoi Giua project was approved for investment by the former Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee in March 2008 and its detailed planning was approved by the former Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee in February 2010.

In August 2015, the People's Committee of the former Thu Dau Mot City continued to approve the adjustment of the 1/500 detailed planning with an area of ​​over 30.6 hectares. In April 2020, the project was allocated and leased land in the first phase by the People's Committee of the former Binh Duong Province, with an area of ​​approximately 10 hectares.

Despite not having completed all the necessary legal procedures, from 2017 to 2018, the developer had hundreds of customers sign numerous "reservation and investment cooperation contracts". To date, hundreds of customers have paid but have not yet received their land plots, and the project remains an empty field.
