The 2025 "Circle of Love" Pickleball Tournament, organized by the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper on December 13th, was lively right after the opening ceremony. Many young people displayed banners cheering on the tournament's ambassadors, singer and actress Minh Hang and Loi Tran, or asked to take souvenir photos with Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyen, an actress who, although not competing, was still present at the venue to support her close friend Dong Anh Quynh.

Highly regarded in this tournament, the pair Loi Tran and Minh Hang were unfortunately eliminated in the quarterfinals due to an unforeseen incident. During a save, actor Loi Tran suffered an injury, clutching his leg in pain, causing concern among the young audience. Despite their efforts to return to the game, the favored pair Loi Tran and Minh Hang were unable to outperform Huu Long and Dong Anh Quynh.
Mr. Bui Thanh Liem - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, presented the award to the women's doubles pair over 45 years old.
Overcoming this hurdle, the pair Huu Long and Dong Anh Quynh advanced straight to the final and defeated Tronie and Huynh Tu to win the Artists & Celebrities category. With seamless coordination and intense focus in every play, the young artists convincingly claimed the championship. Not only did they win on the court, but Huu Long and Dong Anh Quynh also won the Mr. and Miss titles in the Artists category, marking a significant achievement in their first pickleball tournament.

Meanwhile, despite his unsuccessful performance in the Artists - Celebrities category, footballer Mac Hong Quan achieved a resounding victory in the men's doubles category for ages 18-44, partnering with Tran Minh Dung. As talented as he is on the football field, Mac Hong Quan is now beginning to shine on the pickleball court for amateur players.
In addition to the four winning pairs who contributed all the prize money, the participating artists also donated to the "Circle of Love" program of the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, "with the hope that this contribution will help people in disaster-stricken areas, support poor students, poor patients in emergency situations who cannot afford hospital fees, and help homeless people celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year of the Horse" - as shared by MC Thao Nhi.

The top achievements went to the best pairs of athletes, with tennis player Nguyen Thi Lan Chau being the happiest of the tournament. Besides finishing second in the women's doubles over 45 category, she and her teammate Trang Hong Son also won the mixed doubles over 45 category.
The joy was doubled for her when her 18-year-old daughter, Duong Nam Phuong, also won the women's doubles championship in the 18-35 age group, despite having only started playing pickleball 5 months prior.

The 2025 "Circle of Love" Pickleball Tournament, organized by the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, is a meaningful and practical event. Not only does it spread the spirit of charity, but the tournament also creates a platform for interaction and competition among amateur players, contributing to the development of pickleball in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general. We will donate 50% of the prize money to the "Circle of Love" program of the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper. I started out as a pickleball coach and have participated in many professional and semi-professional tournaments. Despite the numerous tournaments taking place simultaneously, I chose to participate in the "Circle of Love" pickleball tournament organized by the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper. This competition is for amateur players but has a noble purpose: raising funds to support people in Central Vietnam affected by natural disasters. I highly appreciate the activities organized by the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper to promote and spread positive values, and I hope the tournament will continue for a long time.
