On April 2, the Walking Street and Park Management Center in District 1 (HCMC) continued to survey to complete the site at Ben Bach Dang Park. This will be the location for the artillery position to serve the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

A representative of the Walking Street and Park Management Center in District 1 said the basic site has been completed.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Command coordinated with this Center to clean up trees, stone benches, and grass. At the same time, they leveled the land with concrete to place the cannons.

On the morning of April 2, most of the area of Bach Dang Wharf Park was leveled with concrete, ready for military units to bring in artillery.

This is to create an open space to hang banners and welcome slogans. At the same time, it helps delegates and people to fully enjoy the performances.

A representative of the Walking Street and Park Management Center in District 1 said that a grandstand will also be installed in the Bach Dang Wharf park area for delegates and people to watch the programs.

"Currently, the basic site has been completed and is ready to be handed over to Brigade 96 (Artillery Corps) to install cannons, hang banners, and install stands..." - a representative of the Walking Street and Park Management Center in District 1 informed.

On the same day, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a master plan for the celebration, parade, march and activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The national celebration took place from 6:30 a.m. on April 30 on Le Duan Street and several central streets, broadcast live on channels of Vietnam Television, Ho Chi Minh City Television and local radio and television stations.

From the artillery site you can see the Saigon River and Thu Duc City.

The celebration on the morning of April 30 will feature a 30-minute art program hosted by Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ministry of Public Security .
