TPO - The project to build a road connecting Xuan Phuong urban area to National Highway 32 is still unfinished after many years of construction.

The project to build a road connecting Nam Tu Liem Secondary School (Phuong Canh street, Xuan Phuong urban area) to National Highway 32 with a total length of 920m through the two districts of Bac Tu Liem and Nam Tu Liem was approved for a feasibility study report in October 2018.

According to the design, the project to build a new road connecting the two districts has a total length of about 920 m. The designed speed of the road is 60 km/h; cross-section size is 40 m, road surface width is 2 x 11.25 m, sidewalk width is 2 x 7.25 m, median strip is 3 m. The road surface is designed with high-grade asphalt concrete A1, on a thin layer of crushed stone aggregate. The total investment of the project is more than 251 billion VND.

According to the plan, the project was built in the period of 2018 - 2020, but until now it is still unfinished. According to the reporter, the section from Nam Tu Liem Secondary School to the Small and Medium Industrial Cluster (Nam Tu Liem District) has been completed and put into use. New pavement stones have been laid, new trees have been planted, and the lighting system has been renovated.

However, the project is still unfinished, "deadlocked" at both ends, unable to be built. According to research, the reason is due to problems in site clearance.

The area is located on the new road project that has not been cleared yet in Bac Tu Liem district.
