On the afternoon of July 16, according to information from the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, regarding the score distribution and ranking position nationwide as announced by the Ministry of Education and Training , Literature is the bright spot of the city. With an average score of 7.259, Can Tho ranked 5th out of 34 provinces and cities with the highest Literature exam scores nationwide.

The city is also in the top 10 provinces and cities with the most 10 points, in the following subjects: Information Technology: Ranked 2nd nationwide, with 7 candidates achieving absolute scores. Technology - Agriculture : Ranked 6th, with 5 candidates achieving 10 points. Biology: Ranked 10th, with 2 candidates achieving 10 points.

According to the representative of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, the overall quality of subjects and exam results this year reflect a clear change in the quality of teaching selected subjects and an increase in practical application orientation according to the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program.

The 2025 high school graduation exam is a clear demonstration of the innovation efforts of the entire Can Tho City Education sector in implementing the 2018 General Education Program. The results achieved are the motivation and basis to continue improving the quality of general education in the coming period, aiming at the goal of developing high-quality human resources for the city and the Mekong Delta region.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, the total number of candidates registered for the exam in Can Tho City is 32,676 candidates; of which the old Hau Giang province has 7,426 candidates; the old Can Tho city has 13,776 candidates and the old Soc Trang province has 11,474 candidates.
