Due to the heavy rain, on the morning of December 4, the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay Expressway was flooded at Km25. This is the same location that was flooded more than two years ago. By noon of the same day, authorities were still pumping water to clear the road surface.

According to initial information, Phan Thiet-Dau Giay Expressway was flooded at Km25 in Tan Lap commune, Lam Dong province. Water flooded both directions. Many locations were flooded about 0.5m deep, so low-chassis cars could not pass through this area, causing traffic congestion.

Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) and the highway management unit promptly arrived at the scene to regulate traffic. By noon of the same day, the authorities were pumping water to fix the flooding problem.

Similarly, heavy rain also caused a sand landslide at Km 215 (Ham Liem commune) on the Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet Expressway. Immediately after that, the Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet Expressway Project Management Board sent construction units to fix the problem to ensure traffic safety.
