After selling out all tickets online in just 15 minutes, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) continues to sell the remaining tickets for the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 (ASEAN Cup) semi-final between Vietnam and Singapore. The organizers opened ticket sales directly at Phu Tho Provincial Gymnasium (next to Viet Tri Stadium) to serve local fans from 8:00 a.m. on December 27. Tickets for the second leg of the semi-final have 3 denominations: 300,000, 500,000 and 600,000 VND.

Since last night, the fence area outside Viet Tri Stadium has been packed with people waiting to buy tickets. In fact, many people have been there since the afternoon of December 26, before the first leg of the semi-final in Singapore took place. The line of people waiting to buy tickets became even longer this morning. The organizing committee has prepared a plan to separate the flow inside and outside the stadium to ensure security and order.

In contrast to the deserted stands in recent friendly matches, the Vietnamese team still has great appeal to home fans when participating in important tournaments such as the AFF Cup 2024. Viet Tri Stadium always welcomes nearly 17,000 spectators (capacity of 20,000 people) in the 2 home matches of the Vietnamese team in the group stage.

In response, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team won 2 home games without conceding a single goal. In the rematch with Singapore on December 29, the Vietnamese team holds a big advantage with 2 goals in the first leg.

"The Vietnamese team won thanks to the players' efforts and concentration until the end. Even though we won 2-0, we still have to be careful when preparing for the return leg," coach Kim Sang-sik said at a press conference last night, after the Vietnamese team defeated Indonesia 2-0.

The Vietnamese team will be divided into two groups and return home this afternoon (December 27). The two flights will depart one hour apart. Coach Kim Sang-sik and the players will immediately travel to Viet Tri (Phu Tho) to prepare for the second leg of the semi-final.
