Celebrating 50 years of National Reunification, Vietcombank refunds 50% of Metro tickets

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Vietcombank cooperated with Visa to launch a special promotion program "LIGHT TOUCH - QUICK SURF", bringing a modern, economical and meaningful experience of traveling by metro to people.

Celebrating 50 years of National Reunification, Vietcombank refunds 50% of Metro tickets up to 450,000 VND

Accordingly, from April 29th to July 28th, 2025, Vietcombank Visa international credit and debit cardholders who make train ticket payments on Metro Line 1 Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien will receive a 50% cashback on the transaction value. The maximum cashback amount is up to VND 450,000 per customer throughout the program period (3 months).

The program applies to all forms of Metro ticket payment using Vietcombank Visa cards, including: Contactless card tapping (Tap to Ride) directly at the ticket gate; Payment on the Metro HCMC app (Not applicable to MoMo and ShopeePay wallets); Payment via POS machines located at ticket counters.
