5 year old boy drowned in coffee irrigation pond

While playing in a neighbor's coffee irrigation reservoir, a 5-year-old girl slipped into the lake and drowned.

On May 14, Mr. Nguyen Van Do, Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Xuan Commune, Dak Song District, Dak Nong Province, said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, causing the death of a 5-year-old girl.

According to initial information, at around 8:45 a.m. the same day, HTNH (born in 2020), son of HNT (born in 1986, residing in Bu Pah hamlet, Truong Xuan commune) went to the neighbor's coffee irrigation reservoir to play. While playing, H. unfortunately slipped into the lake and drowned.

The reservoir where the heartbreaking incident occurred

Upon discovering the incident, local people rescued H. and took him to the emergency room. However, H. died.

It is known that the victim's family is in difficult circumstances. After the incident, local authorities visited, expressed condolences and assisted the victim's family in organizing the funeral.
