At more than 9:30 p.m. the same day, a fire broke out in a 1-storey, 1-storey house at L38 Phu Lam A residential area, ward 12. At this time, people inside the house ran out shouting and trying to put out the fire, but initial efforts were unsuccessful.
The fire then flared up fiercely. Some neighbors, frightened, grabbed their belongings and fled. At the same time, people also called the authorities.
District 6 Fire Police dispatched vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene. Firefighters then used water hoses to spray water on the fire.
The fire was extinguished after about 30 minutes. At the scene, the metal roof collapsed and many properties were also burned.
According to locals, the burnt house was rented by a woman who lived with her family and sold coffee.
Dozens of firefighters were mobilized.
