The Long An Radio and Television Journalists' Association held its new term congress.

The Long An Radio and Television Journalists' Association currently has 58 members. During its term, the Association processed the admission of 9 new members and proposed awarding the "For the Cause of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism" commemorative medal to 5 members.

Over the past period, Long An Radio and Television Station has strictly implemented the 12 criteria for a culturally-oriented media agency, the culture of Vietnamese journalists, and regulations on journalistic ethics. In addition, the Secretariat encouraged members to fully participate in training courses and disseminate the Party's resolutions. At the same time, members actively participated in journalism awards organized by the Provincial and Central Journalists Associations, Vietnam Television, regional and sectoral organizations, etc.

During the new term, the congress set forth the following key targets: 100% of members participating in training sessions and implementing policies and resolutions organized by the Provincial and Central Journalists Associations; members and reporters maintaining peace of mind, speaking and writing in accordance with the Party's viewpoints, policies, and guidelines, and the State's laws and regulations; continuously innovating and improving program quality in line with multi-platform media trends; actively implementing the Project to enhance the unit's operational capacity and the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Broadcasting Station on improving the quality of program content on radio and television; investing in quality works to participate in provincial, regional, sectoral, and national journalism awards;…

The Congress elected the Secretariat of the Long An Radio and Television Journalists Association for the 2023-2025 term, consisting of 3 journalists, with journalist Tran Van Hop being re-elected as Secretary of the Association.
