The Vietnam Family Magazine Journalists Association successfully organized the Congress for the 2024 term.

In accordance with the Charter and Guidelines of the Vietnam Journalists Association , and with the approval of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Vietnam Family Magazine Branch is holding its General Assembly for the 2024-2026 term to evaluate the results of activities in the past term, set forth directions and tasks for the next term, and elect a new Branch Secretariat.

At the Congress, journalist Tran Dinh Hung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine, Secretary of the Branch Association - on behalf of the Presidium, presented the draft report summarizing the Branch Association's work during the past term.

The report states that, during the past term, under the correct and decisive leadership of the managing agency's leadership and editorial board, the Vietnam Family Magazine Journalists' Association quickly stabilized and streamlined its organization, bringing management and professional activities into order through the issuance of a system of regulations, rules, and operating procedures.

Currently, Vietnam Family Magazine operates on a multi-media platform including print magazine, electronic magazine, and the development of synchronized social media platforms. Thanks to this approach, over the years the magazine has become an important and reliable information channel, serving as a guide on family issues, healthcare, and child rearing.

The magazine's leadership and editorial team includes many experienced journalists with leadership and management skills. They also receive attention and guidance from the Party Committee and the governing body, as well as timely assistance from the Vietnam Journalists Association and other press management agencies. In addition, the team of reporters and editors are well-trained, enthusiastic, and creative. As a result, the magazine has successfully fulfilled its political , ideological, and professional objectives over the past period.

Besides its professional activities, Vietnam Family Magazine has strongly and effectively developed extracurricular activities that have created a great impact, such as successfully organizing the National Press Cup Football Tournament for press agencies, now in its 8th season; the "Father and Daughter" writing contest, now in its 2nd season; a golf tournament; the "Exchange Trash for Gifts" program; and the Mid-Autumn Festival for Children program…

Delegates attending the Congress offered numerous opinions and contributions aimed at improving the quality of the Association's work and the professional work in fulfilling the magazine's political mission.

With high consensus, the Congress elected the Branch Secretariat for the 2024-2026 term, consisting of 3 members: Journalist Ho Minh Chien – Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine, serving as Branch Secretary; Journalist Phan Khanh An – General Secretary of the editorial board, serving as Deputy Branch Secretary; and Journalist Le Thi Man – Editorial Secretary, serving as a member of the Branch Secretariat.
