Details of 168 wards, communes, and special zones of Ho Chi Minh City from July 1, 2025

From July 1, 2025, the new Ho Chi Minh City will be officially established on the basis of rearranging the three localities of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. After the rearrangement process, from the original total of 441 communes, wards and towns, the new Ho Chi Minh City will have 168 administrative units, including 102 communes and wards of Ho Chi Minh City; 36 communes and wards of Binh Duong and 30 communes, wards and special zones of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, marking a turning point in administrative management and urban development.
