Ministry of National Defense hands over land to Vung Tau ward to build a square

On October 24, the People's Committee of Vung Tau Ward (HCMC) held a ceremony to award the Certificate of Land Use Rights and receive land handover from the Ministry of National Defense.

At the handover ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Thanh Sang, Vice Chairman of Vung Tau Ward People's Committee, handed over the Certificate of land use rights and property ownership rights attached to land No. AA01526578 dated October 15, 2025 to Army Corps 18, Ministry of National Defense for land plot No. 94, map sheet 164, with an area of ^{​​6,000m2} of defense land. Long-term use period.

It is known that ^the 6,000m2 of land handed over to the Ministry of National Defense is located at 89 Le Loi (Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), which is the former headquarters of the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Also at the ceremony, Army Corps 18, Ministry of National Defense handed over 7,523 square meters at 165A Thuy Van Street to Vung Tau Ward People's Committee to implement the Thuy Van Square Expansion Project.

The project has a total investment of nearly 95 billion VND, including a new square of more than 52,000 square meters, a 16 meter surrounding traffic route, a green tree system, lighting, parking lot and rest house.

Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the 18th Army Corps, Ministry of National Defense requested that the locality use the land for the assigned purpose, not to allow disputes or encroachment...
