Resign Mr. Le Minh Khai, Dang Quoc Khanh, Nguyen Xuan Ky, and Chau Van Lam from their positions as members of the Party Central Committee.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Chau Van Lam were approved by the Party Central Committee to resign from their positions as members of the Party Central Committee.

According to the Office of the Party Central Committee, in the working session on the afternoon of August 3, the Party Central Committee considered the resignation applications of a number of leaders of central and local agencies. General Secretary and President To Lam chaired the conference on behalf of the Politburo. At the conference, based on the report of the Central Inspection Committee and the proposal of the Central Organizing Committee, the Party Central Committee found that Mr. Le Minh Khai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, former Secretary of the Party Committee, Government Inspector General; Dang Quoc Khanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, former Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang Province; Nguyen Xuan Ky, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council; Chau Van Lam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Tuyen Quang province, violated Party regulations in performing assigned duties and tasks, violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, responsibilities to set an example, and regulations on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

Realizing their responsibility to the Party and the people, the above individuals have submitted their resignations from their assigned positions.

Pursuant to current regulations of the Party and State and considering the wishes of the above individuals, the Party Central Committee agreed to let Mr. Le Minh Khai resign from his position: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, member of the Party Central Committee, 13th tenure; agreed to let Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh, Nguyen Xuan Ky, Chau Van Lam resign from his position as members of the Party Central Committee, 13th tenure.
