According to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, in the next 24-48 hours, the circulation of storm No. 3 (Wipha) will cause moderate to heavy rain, especially in the low mountainous areas in the south of the province including the communes of Ham Yen, Yen Son, Minh Xuan, Son Duong, some places will have very heavy rain (from 50-100mm, some places over 150m). Warning of dangerous natural disaster risk.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment requires localities to continuously update weather warning bulletins, natural disaster forecasts, promptly notify and guide people to proactively prevent and minimize damage caused by storm circulation; deploy shock forces to inspect and review residential areas along rivers, streams, low-lying areas at high risk of flooding, flash floods and landslides.

At the same time, prepare forces and means to evacuate people when there are signs of abnormality; check and proactively take measures to ensure the safety of reservoirs and downstream areas, especially irrigation works, dykes, and reservoirs under construction; be ready to operate and regulate reservoirs and handle situations when flood waters rise; organize inspections and reviews of areas at risk of flooding, flash floods, and landslides to proactively clear the flow, ensuring safety for people; when natural disasters occur, proactively mobilize forces and means to support damage recovery, restore production, and stabilize people's lives...
