On the morning of April 22nd, in Ho Chi Minh City, a delegation of Party and State leaders led by President Luong Cuong visited and offered incense and flowers at the Nga Ba Giong National Historical Relic Site in Hoc Mon District.
Accompanying the delegation were Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Duoc, Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Thi Le, and others.
At the Nga Ba Giong National Historical Site, delegates respectfully laid flowers and incense and observed a moment of silence to express their profound gratitude and commemorate the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh , the heroic martyrs, and the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Southern Uprising.

Nga Ba Giong is the place that witnessed the events of the uprising of the people of Hoc Mon - 18 villages of Vuon Trau and Cho Lon, Gia Dinh, Saigon on the night of November 22nd and the morning of November 23rd, 1940, during the historic Southern Uprising. This is also where the French colonialists secretly executed heroes such as Nguyen Van Cu, Phan Dang Luu, and many other loyal revolutionary soldiers and compatriots who participated in the Southern Uprising.

Afterward, the delegation visited Hero of the Armed Forces To Van Duc in Nhuan Duc commune, Cu Chi district.
At the home of Mr. To Van Duc, President Luong Cuong extended his heartfelt greetings and expressed his deep gratitude for Mr. Duc's contributions to the independence and freedom of the nation. He also wished Mr. To Van Duc good health and hoped he would continue to inspire future generations.

Mr. To Van Duc was born in 1942 in Nhuan Duc commune, Cu Chi district. He was also known as "Ut Duc" and used the alias "Muoi Duc" while serving in the South Vietnamese Liberation Army. Mr. To Van Duc is known as the "hero of landmines" for his invention and contributions to the engineering corps.

This morning, President Luong Cuong, along with National Assembly delegates from Ho Chi Minh City's Constituency No. 10, will meet with voters in Cu Chi and Hoc Mon districts ahead of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.
