Nga Ba Giong is the place that witnessed the events of the uprising of the people of Hoc Mon - 18 villages of Vuon Trau and Cho Lon, Gia Dinh, Saigon on the night of November 22nd and the morning of November 23rd, 1940, during the historic Southern Uprising. This is also where the French colonialists secretly executed heroes such as Nguyen Van Cu, Phan Dang Luu, and many other loyal revolutionary soldiers and compatriots who participated in the Southern Uprising.
