Accompanying the President was General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense.

Inspecting combat readiness training at the training ground, the President and delegates witnessed soldiers demonstrating combat skills in areas such as martial arts, counter-attack techniques, and combined demolition... with courageous and skillful movements; along with rapid and accurate shooting exercises. These demonstrations showcased the courage, determination, combat training discipline, and the persistent and resilient efforts of the special forces reconnaissance soldiers of the National Defense Intelligence.

Highly appreciating the quality of training and combat readiness of Brigade K3, the President presented gifts, commended, and encouraged the officers, staff, and soldiers of the unit; especially the female special forces reconnaissance soldiers who have overcome many difficulties and hardships, striving to fulfill training requirements to keep up with the achievements of their male comrades.

President Vo Van Thuong affirmed: Having gone through more than 27 years of building, fighting, and maturing, Brigade K3 has always been an elite and steadfast fighting force of the National Defense Intelligence, achieving many outstanding victories, and rightfully deserving to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the đổi mới (renovation) period by the Party and the State.

The officers, staff, and soldiers of the Brigade have always strived to overcome difficulties and hardships, excellently fulfilling all assigned tasks, achieving many accomplishments in carrying out political tasks, contributing to building the Army, consolidating national defense, protecting the Party, the regime, the Fatherland, and building a strong National Defense Intelligence; thus building a tradition of "Loyalty - Trustworthiness - Combat Skill - Decisive Victory".

The President also acknowledged, commended, and highly appreciated the achievements and developments in all aspects of the Brigade in recent years, especially in training and combat readiness, rightfully earning its place as one of the leading action units in the combat formation of the National Defense Intelligence.

The President instructed: The unit should continue to uphold the heroic traditions of the National Defense Intelligence and the Brigade; prioritize building a comprehensively strong, exemplary, and outstanding unit; prioritize building a clean, strong, and exemplary Party Committee; always maintain ideological firmness, cultivate in officers, staff, and soldiers unwavering political resolve, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people; proactively overcome difficulties; possess high determination; and be ready to accept and successfully complete tasks in all situations. Along with this, further improve training and combat readiness, training troops to possess truly elite, skilled, and combat-ready technical, tactical, and professional expertise; excellent action skills; independent combat capability; and high combat strength.

The President expressed his confidence that the officers, staff, and soldiers of the Brigade will continue to contribute, together with the entire Defense Intelligence sector, to serving the cause of national construction and defense in the new situation more effectively and efficiently; and continue to be a particularly reliable and absolutely loyal force of the Party, the State, the Army, and the people.
