The Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park is located within the Thai Binh Economic Zone in Thai Thuy District – a model of sustainable development with a complex of industrial parks, urban areas, and services. The industrial park is planned, designed, and invested in to become a green and smart industrial park in Thai Binh, and has currently attracted 14 secondary projects with a total registered investment capital of US$1,186.5 million, utilizing 170.3 hectares of land.
Speaking at the event, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his pleasure and congratulated the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park on its initial but very important achievements. The Chairman stated that previously, Thai Binh was known as a rice-growing region, the birthplace of "Sister Hai, the five-ton rice farmer," but today, Thai Binh is undergoing transformation, experiencing rapid economic and industrial development. The current development mindset of Thai Binh is different, simultaneously consolidating the role of agriculture as a pillar and leveraging local advantages, especially the strong influence of the Hanoi-Quang Ninh-Hai Phong development axis. The Chairman expressed his confidence that Thai Binh's current position is different and will be even more so in the future.
Emphasizing the two centenary goals set by the Party in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, the Chairman of the National Assembly assessed that Thai Binh province has achieved a relatively high economic growth rate in recent years, ranking among the top in the country. However, with its modest economic scale and challenging starting point, in order to catch up and progress alongside other developed localities nationwide, the Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that Thai Binh province must accelerate its growth further, aiming for double-digit growth each year.
The National Assembly Chairman highly appreciated the planning and development orientation of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, which has linked industrialization with urbanization and services. This is an important development model, located in the overall Thai Binh Economic Zone with an area of about 30 thousand hectares. Believing that the "big group" already exists, the foundation for development is good, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized the implementation work and hoped that investors who have committed to invest will focus on implementing it most effectively.
The Chairman of the National Assembly stated that, when approving the Land Use Planning and Plan, the National Assembly allowed the Government, when necessary, to report to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly to adjust the industrial land quotas for localities that performed well. When the Government submits the proposal, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will consider and decide immediately because the legal framework is already in place, and this adjustment is necessary to improve the efficiency of land use, thereby helping localities accelerate development, create more jobs for the people, and contribute to the overall development of the country.
The Chairman of the National Assembly also requested the Management Board of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and Thai Binh Economic Zone to focus on effectively implementing tasks, orientations, and development strategies, making the operation of the industrial park and economic zone truly flourish; and at the same time, to take good care of implementing policies for workers and employees.
At the industrial park, the Chairman of the National Assembly presented 200 gifts to workers and families entitled to preferential policies in the locality.
The Chairman of the National Assembly visited the production line and encouraged the workers of OHSUNG VINA Thai Binh Company - a company that manufactures motor components for electronic household appliances and spare parts for LED screens…
The Chairman of the National Assembly expressed his wish that the company's leadership would continue to ensure full compliance with regulations and policies for workers and employees, taking care of their material and spiritual well-being so that workers and employees would be committed, feel secure in their work, and contribute to the company's development.
* Earlier that morning, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the delegation offered incense and flowers in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Temple and the Monument of President Ho Chi Minh with Vietnamese Farmers in Thai Binh Square, Hoang Dieu Ward, Thai Binh City.
During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh visited Thai Binh five times. On his last visit (January 1967), he expressed his hope that "comrades and compatriots will strive even harder to make Thai Binh a model province in all aspects." The statue of President Ho Chi Minh with Vietnamese farmers, located within the Thai Binh Square architectural complex, is a significant work, reflecting President Ho Chi Minh's affection for the people of Thai Binh, as well as the affection, respect, and gratitude of the Party Committee, government, and people of Thai Binh towards the beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
