On the afternoon of August 18, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building the Movement of All People Protecting National Security of Nam Dan district organized the National Day of All People Protecting National Security in Kim Lien commune.
Attending the festival were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police; Nguyen Duc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Phan Duc Son - Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Nam Dan district, Kim Lien commune and many people.
MANY MODELS ARE RECOGNIZED AND HIGHLY APPRECIATED
Over the years, the Party Committee and the government of Kim Lien commune have always identified the work of building the movement of All People Protecting National Security as a fundamental and long-term strategic measure in protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.
Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the management and administration of the government and the coordination of departments, branches and organizations, the movement of the People to protect the security of the Fatherland has been launched and maintained regularly and continuously. The movement has increasingly developed in both breadth and depth, contributing positively to maintaining political stability, ensuring social order and safety; destroying many organized criminal gangs, contributing to reducing the number of criminal cases and social evils.
The movement of the whole people protecting national security in Kim Lien commune is integrated and linked with many other movements such as: Movement of "The whole people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas; "Hunger eradication and poverty reduction", "Building and improving the criteria of a model new rural commune" ... has really created a strong spread and brought about great efficiency.
Kim Lien Commune has established a Steering Committee, 12 Self-Management Committees and 194 Self-Management Groups with 560 members, which are truly the core in ensuring security and order in the area. There are models built on the spirit of volunteerism and self-management formed according to the mechanism: "People organize, people self-manage, people implement, people raise" under the direction of the Party Committee, the management and operation of the government and the advice and guidance of the Commune Police.
Many effective and highly appreciated models such as: "Drug-free commune"; "Skilled mass mobilization", "Veterans with the work of ensuring security and order"; "Commune safe in security and order"; "Family, residential area, agency, school safe in security and order", model "Typical advanced model in the movement of All people protecting national security", contributing to ensuring security and order, serving the socio -economic development of the locality.
PEOPLE ARE THE SUBJECT, THE CENTER OF THE MOVEMENT
In the exciting atmosphere of the festival, speaking to a large number of officials and people of Kim Lien commune, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Nghe An is a province with a large area and population, and difficult economic conditions. Nghe An is identified as a key and complicated area in terms of security and order. Therefore, the work of ensuring security and order is always of interest to the provincial leaders and the police force.
In recent years, the security and order situation in the province has had many positive changes. In particular, the movement of All People Protecting National Security has been responded to and participated by provincial leaders, Party committees, authorities, police forces, and people and has achieved many important results. From there, it has created stability and favorable conditions for the province to achieve socio-economic development goals.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Nghe An is currently implementing important projects such as: Model ward for security, order and urban civilization; Building typical communes, wards, agencies, units and schools in the movement of All people protecting national security.
During the implementation process, many typical examples of good people and good deeds have appeared, contributing to the results of the movements; building a very good people's security posture.
Nghe An currently has 119 security protection models recognized by the Ministry of Public Security, of which 13 models have been commended and replicated nationwide; especially the "Drug-free Commune" model, which has contributed to changing the province's image, reducing drug crimes and social order and safety crimes in the area. Contributing to the above results are the roles of grassroots levels, from residential groups, villages, hamlets to towns, districts, cities, and towns; including Kim Lien commune and Nam Dan district.
Recognizing, praising and appreciating the results of the movement of the People to protect the national security of Nam Dan district in general and Kim Lien commune in particular, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung expressed his pride when Kim Lien commune was recognized as a Heroic Unit of the Armed Forces in the renovation period, the first commune in the province to be recognized as a model new rural area.
"Kim Lien is a national destination, with a peak of about 2.5 million visitors, an average of about 1.5 million visitors. The number of visitors is large but the security and order situation is guaranteed and stable, with no security and order hotspots. This is very encouraging. In addition, people's lives are cared for and increasingly improved," the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that in the coming time, the province will identify major goals to carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building a clean and strong Party and political system. In particular, socio-economic development is the key and priority task. And in fact, the province has achieved many positive results.
Nghe An has a favorable and stable environment for economic development, and many foreign investors have come to the province. In particular, the Politburo has just issued Resolution No. 39 on building and developing Nghe An province until 2030, with a vision to 2045. This is an important political basis for the province to realize its development goals, soon making Nghe An a fairly developed province, developing rapidly and sustainably. To achieve the above goals, the province must continue to implement and maintain good security and order, and maintain stability in the area.
In the coming time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung requested the Party Committee, government and people of Kim Lien commune in particular and Nam Dan district in general to continue promoting the achieved results, continue to raise awareness about the meaning, content and purpose of the movement "All people protect national security".
"This movement must be of the people, with the leadership of the Party Committee, the management of the government, and the participation of mass organizations. The people must be the subject and center of the movement and the festival; the police force is the core; cadres and party members must set an example in implementation," said Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung.
On the other hand, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district needs to continue to constantly innovate the content, form and methods of launching the movement; determined to build Nam Dan district into a typical example of the movement of All people protecting national security.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that the Party Committee and the government regularly pay attention to the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people for consideration and resolution; taking the people as the center, the subject, the main force, and the goal of the movement.
The police force plays a core role, closely attached to the people, close to the people, respects the people, listens to the people; supports the militia force to confidently perform the task of ensuring security and order and the movement of the People protecting the security of the Fatherland.
