Final round of the Homeland Melodies Singing Festival "Thieu Hoa"

As part of the series of activities commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory and the 702nd anniversary of the death of historian Le Van Huu, on the evening of April 24th, Thieu Hoa district organized the "Thieu Hoa - Echoes of the Bronze Drum" Homeland Melody Singing Festival.

The Organizing Committee presented commemorative flags to the participating units.

The final night featured 12 performances selected through preliminary rounds from clusters of 24 communes, towns, and high schools in the area.

With the theme "Thieu Hoa - Echoes of the Bronze Drum," the participating teams brought to the festival songs praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese People's Armed Forces, love for the homeland and country; the historical, cultural, and heroic traditional values of the nation, of Thanh Hoa province in general, and Thieu Hoa district in particular, such as: Thanh Hoa Love Song; Returning to My Homeland, Mount Do, Chu River; Greetings to the Heroic Ma River; The Epic on the Bronze Drum; A Tour of Vietnam...

This performance won first prize at the festival.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the participating units meticulously rehearsed and staged their performances, investing in choreography, costumes, and props; they selected new vocal talents to participate in the singing festival, and the accompanying dance troupes were well-coordinated, showcasing diversity in content and richness in genre.

The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize, worth 10 million VND, to Thieu Tien commune.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Thieu Tien commune, two second prizes, three third prizes, and six consolation prizes to the participating teams.

The "Thieu Hoa - Echoes of Bronze Drums" Homeland Melody Singing Festival is organized to discover singing talents for the cultural and artistic movement; to create a healthy and beneficial playground for music lovers; to practically celebrate major national holidays; and at the same time to create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, strongly promote patriotic emulation movements, and motivate cadres, Party members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to actively work, study, and produce, contributing to the successful implementation of the political , economic, cultural, social, national defense, and security tasks of the district.
