National Celebration Program to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of National Reunification Day

The celebration, parade, march and activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) are national celebrations organized by the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Ho Chi Minh City.

The ceremony will take place from 6:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025 on Le Duan Street and some central streets, broadcast live on channels of Vietnam Television, Ho Chi Minh City Television and local radio and television stations. The program of the ceremony includes: Art program, Flag salute ceremony, Speeches by Party and State leaders; speeches by representatives of veterans, representatives of the young generation of Vietnam; parade - march and release of pigeons.

In addition, Ho Chi Minh City directed the implementation of key commemorative activities including: Incense and flower offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs on April 29, 2025; Incense and flower offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang on April 29, 2025; activities to pay tribute to families of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the country, veterans, former youth volunteers and forces participating in the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising; City workshop on achievements of 50 years of building, protecting and developing Ho Chi Minh City; a series of activities to summarize 50 years of literature and art of Ho Chi Minh City after the country's reunification; fireworks show on the evening of April 30, 2025...
