Up to now, the National Single Window has had 250 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and branches connected; maintained official connection with the ASEAN Single Window to exchange information on electronic certificates of origin form D with 9 ASEAN member countries. The total number of administrative procedures in the customs sector is 225, of which 214 procedures are performed by customs authorities, including 132 procedures provided with full online public services; 61 procedures are provided partially; 21 procedures are provided with online information.

The Customs Department plans to complete the construction of a model and business process to meet the requirements for deploying a digital border gate platform nationwide by the end of the year; at the same time, research and deploy customs declaration application software for low-value goods based on the application of OTP or biometric recognition technology to authenticate customs declarants to improve the effectiveness of crime prevention and customs law violations.
